***Join the University of Utah Varsity Club - $30 annual membership
http://crimsonclub.utah.edu/VarsityClub.htm
The Varsity Club is organized within the U of U’s Athletics Department designed to bring our former letter winners back to the U campus and to support Utah athletics. Currently there are over 200 members representing sixteen NCAA athletic sports. Membership in the Varsity Club is $30.00 annually and each member receives many benefits with their membership. Those include complimentary tickets to various sporting events, discounts at the University Book Store, invitations to the fall reunion and socials, Varsity Club T-shirt, sweatshirt or some other gift, etc.
Those members who contribute more than the annual fee, that amount is placed into a restrictive fund which is given out to the various sports based on need. Over $10,100.00 was given out in 2008 to Women’s Softball, Women’s Volleyball, Men’s & Women’s Tennis, the Athlete Academic Services Burbidge Center and to the Athlete Community. Each year coaches submit their special projects list to the Varsity Club on items that they are in need of to further their endeavors. Those individuals who join the Varsity Club are also given Crimson Club status. The main purpose of the Club is to once again reunite those former letter winners and to support our current student athletes.
